Clean, FRIENDLY, well appointed hotel with comfortable rooms and an nice restaurant offering great eats and good entertainment. Well stocked pro shop, efficient golf staff and nice half way house all complement an amazing golf course with lovely views. Course in fine shape already for the season. Really happy my 4some stayed here.
This was our first time visiting this resort. The staff were friendly and inviting and the golf course was spectacular! We stayed for 2 nights and were disappointed. We arrived on a Monday and the dining room was not open for dinner and the yacht club up the road where we were directed was also closed. We ended up eating from the snack bar on location. In addition, the rooms do not have mini fridges so there was no way to store fresh food or even keep refreshments cold. The bedding was dated and carpets were stained. The golf course was awesome!!!
The resort is a quaint and beautiful location. The older building does carry noise, so things like closing doors can be heard early in the day. Beds are nice but not what one expect from 4 star resort.
This is an amazing hotel/resort. There is a golf course attached to the property and beside it is a ski resort. The staff are friendly and kind. The rooms are super cozy and clean. It is reasonably priced. There is a restaurant which was closed when we stayed. It might a seasonal restaurant. You can easily drive to nearby tourist locations as its location on a major road.

This is for golf only - did not stay at resort (although it looks excellent). Visited for golf for first time. If I could give a 4.5 I would. The golf experience is excellent. The course is built into the side of the hill - offering some terrific design choices and looks. Greens and fairways and traps were in perfect shape. Green fee plus cart and range balls equaled 100 - which was an outstanding price for the quality of golf. Amenities are a little light (minimal range, no short game area, small putting practice) but it was enough to get warmed up. Service team was on top of everything and very friendly . Pace of play was maintained. We golfed in 4 locations in Cape Breton in a week - this was easily the best experience of all of them. Will try to come back.
